Hickory Fest August 16-18, 2013
We are back to full strength this year and excited as ever to be hosting the 12th Annual Hickory Fest – Music in the Canyon. As always, this year’s Hickory Fest will be a fun-filled weekend of great bluegrass and acoustic music and other entertainment. The stage show will start on Friday afternoon and will continue until Sunday afternoon with campground pickin’ all weekend long.
We had a great response to our Open Mic last year, and we will be including it again this year. For those who would like to perform on the Hickory Fest stage, we will be hosting the Open Mic on Sunday August 18. Please email us to reserve a spot on the Open Mic list!! Stay tuned for details.
As in the past, this year’s festival will benefit our local chapter of the American Cancer Society in order to further research and help our friends and loved ones who have been stricken with this disease.
Hickory Fest was founded in the year 2001 to bring some of the world’s best musicians to the hills of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Thanks to the support of our dedicated audiences, the artists, our many volunteers, and the community, this vision is now a reality. Hickory Fest has gained national recognition among artists and audiences for its outstanding performances and scenic venue.
